The Denver chapter of Architecture for Humanity has partnered with the Hudson Ranch outside of Pueblo, CO to design and build a covered riding arena. In 1994 the Hudson's donated the ranch to the 4H Foundation and Farmers Union and Youth Charitable Foundation
The ranch is comprised of 1850 acres, 1250 which are directly accessible from our site along highway 78 southwest of Pueblo, CO. Another 600 acres are located along the west edge of St. Charles Canyon closer to Buela, CO.
60 adult cattle and 53 claves are maintained on the property. Aside from equine therapy the ranch is host to several activities. It boasts the highest ceiling allowed by the FAA for model rocket launches. Rocketeers account for over 1600 launches a year through various organizations including 4H.
