My ‘structure for living’ accommodates people, it has a basic but modern design. It is energy efficient as it is made of concrete so it will keep the heat inside the house; it also has a large window that faces the sun, keeping the house warm. The pool at the front gets filled up at high tide with seawater, as the tide moves out, the water can be kept in the pool or can be emptied out. When the water is emptied out, it runs through small turbines at the bottom of the pool, the energy generated by these turbines is used to power the house. Although the energy generated by the turbines will not be enough to power the whole house, it will certainly take a chunk out of the energy bill.
