The Nobelity Project is partnering with the local community in Mahiga, Kenya, with Architecture for Humanity, Nike, Safaricom and others to build Mahiga Hope High School. Our RainWater Court Building was a winner of the Nike GameChangers Award and AfH design fellow Greg Elsner is living in the community for a period of one year to build the court (also on OAN).

The high school also includes a 2-story, 8-classroom building that includes a library and a computer library. Other buildings include a science building with biology, chemistry and physics lab, a new kitchen and dining room/study hall, sanitation facilities, multiple rainwater systems and a new pre-school to replace the existing pre-school - a building which is being repurposed as office space for the high school.
