Haiti School - Pignon

This project was a collaboration between the NGO Haiti Outreach and students of IIT. http://mypages.iit.edu/~haiti/ The challenge was to design and build a school that could expand over time. Students from the school in Haiti were asked how they would like their school to develop to accommodate more children. Haiti Outreach http://www.haitioutreach.org/community-development2/whole-community-conc... received a promise from the Ministry of Education that if a school was provided with a school board to maintain it they would supply the teachers. What is presented here is the process of Design, Testing and Construction and some valuable lessons learned in the process.
