With a grant from the WK Kellogg Foundation, Architecture for Humanity has completed the physical mapping of 11 communes across southern and central Haiti. There are 44 communes across Haiti. These maps contain basic geographic and political information which is made available as a resource for the country. Many of the towns, villages, roads and waterways in these communes were not previously located or cataloged on a map though settlement patterns can be found via aerial photography.
