Architecture for Humanity - Denver and FEED Denver: Urban Farms & Markets teamed up to design prototypes for urban greenhouses.
Of the food that we consume here in Colorado, only 0.1% of it is produced in Colorado! In 2008, we spent $5.5 BILLION on importing food. What if more of us started producing our own food here locally? Not only would more people have access to healthy food, but we would retain some of the $5.5 billon otherwise sent to other economies.
