The Project will focus on cleaning and Greening the school campus. Garbage is a great environmental hazard. Trash comes from various sources – used papers, Tiffin packing, plastic bags, ice – cream, wrappers, bottle caps, pencil stubs, garbage resulting from functions organized at the schools. Garbage makes the premises ugly and unkempt and breeds diseases. We should not burn it because it contains materials that can be recycled. Most of the schools did not have trees. Students were played in hot conditions. Cleaning and greening the school campus through separate dustbin boxes maintain for organic and inorganic waste management and Neem and flowering plants grows in schools. Waste management and greening is focus points of this dynamic youth in Usilampatti block, Madurai district, Tamilnadu, state, India. The project will take place in 10 schools in our target area. 100 youth volunteers implementing this project. The youth volunteers purchasing dustbin boxes (40), Neem plants (100), Flowering plants (100) and watering cans (10) from nearest market. The dustbin boxes provided to 10 schools and demonstrate on organic and inorganic waste collection and reuse. Then, Neem plants (100) and flowering plants (100) will plant in school campus. Waste management is very much necessary in the present day to prevent the pollution of the environment. All individuals have responsibility for making their surrounding clean and healthy. The project will educate clean and healthy. The project will educate the waste management. Everyone should segregate the domestic waste into degradable and non – degradable. Everyone should understand the importance of recycling and reusing materials and encourage the children to do so. Growing Neem trees will help to medicinal – values for people, improving soil fertility. Greenery activity create good environment. Pollution free environment greening schools – base of health and wealth. Management of waste and control of waste generation are the most critical problems facing the society. As the population keeps increasing, more people move to cities. Increased urbanization generates more wastes. The disposal of this waste is becoming global problem. These wastes are generally disposed off without proper planning. The land area for waste disposal is increasing and the air and water become more polluted. Planning for disposal of waste is necessary to prevent pollution of the environment and soil. Planting of trees to make healthier environment and sustainable future.
