Basketball Court @Pele

Overviewteamupdatesworkspacecalendarfiles

With funding from a Nike Gamechangers grant, École Baptiste Bon Berger, Pele will incorporate a basket ball court into this tight urban context on the outskirts of Cite Soleil. This is a great opportunity for the school as most schools in Haiti currently do not incorporate sports at all in their curriculum. This project will be a benchmark in showing how small scale sports facilities can be included on tight urban campuses. It will serve 1200 students and make such a huge difference to this community. As part of the reconstruction of the campus it is being split into publicly accessible services (basket ball court, church, IT lab and kitchen) and private areas for classrooms and other play spaces.
