About the Campaign

“20 Centres for 2010” is the Official Campaign of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. Its aim is to raise funds to create twenty Football for Hope Centres for public health, education and football across Africa. The centres will address local social challenges in disadvantaged areas and improve education and health services for young people.

About the Centre Host
The association Sport – The Bridge is a voluntary organization that was founded in 2002 in Berne with the goal of promoting children’s personal development and building bridges between people. In doing so it relies on the universal value of sport. The association is politically and denominationally neutral, and currently has about 40 active and 100 passive members. Along with the program in Addis Ababa, Sport – The Bridge also carries out a series of programs in Switzerland.
