From generals to particulars this project takes the inherent streangth of the triangle applied to easily found materials and generates a low-cost solution to basic shelter/housing. A diamond shape is cut from a cardboard box at a fold and used as a basic repeating "molecule" to build terahedra and half octahedra which are "woven" together and attached with duct tape and glue (or perhaps sewn together if someone has some time on their hands) forming eventually a wall and roof framing structure which can then be clad in sheetrock and siding and roofing tar, the residual carboard left over from the boxes can be ground up and used for insulation in the cavities. Foundation is rammed earth. The basic module is a 6'-0" x 6'-0" x 6'-0" triangle. Sliding door and shutters are for privacy and light. This design is basically a free house and five unit "village" built around a well or carried in water cistern; suitable for desert (arid) climates and using recycled cardboard as the main building material.
