My structure, composing of 4 ‘blocks’ on a floating platform, provides ‘micro-homes’, a store and a museum.
The first constitutes of a general store, plus restaurant.
The second and third are residential, containing two ‘micro-homes’ each.
The fourth houses the Puget Sound Museum (American Indians, Europeans’ arrival, environmental awareness, shipping, the ex-Army fort.) Marine creatures viewed through glass floor. Includes ferry stop.
Supported by pontoons. Alloys, glass make up its structure. Energy collected from seawater - salt conducts energy.
I designed it this way because it’s 'green', hi-tech, serves the historical and functional needs of the community, and I like it!

Fantastic little multi-use project - very complex, and intricately modeled. Images like 'Salmon Walk High' & 'Tower' suggest a series of impressively rich spacial relationships - very nice. I do wish there were a couple more (or better?) overview shots so I could better understand the whole set-piece - a section would be helpful as well.
Thanks for the comment: it has encouraged me a lot! As for the section I didn't know how to get rid of that yellow box you have to build your structure in. Thank you for the advice!
I've just realised I've won!!!! Fantastic! Other structures were super too! Congratulations to everyone who won too!!
Hey!
Nice design!
I came second in this age group, my design is the 'Structure for Living' one...!
Congratulations on coming first!
...P.S. Did you get an e-mail telling you that you came 1st, because I didn't, I was just wondering that if you did, there would have been some important details in it that might also concern me...!
Thank you!
I haven't got an e-mail yet. I only realised when i found out on the site.
