Fiji Classroom

Competition Semi-finalist for: 2009 Open Architecture Challenge: Classroom

We are partnering with Tim’s ‘English as a Second Language’ class with ages ranging from 13-15yrs. Students are from Korea, China & Japan with varying levels of competency in English speaking. Consequently designing a classroom is a great way to involve all students, as they are working with something they are familiar with & can contribute ideas from their own culture & experience. I am curious to see how all these cultures mix together in this small Pacific Island nation.
