INSPIRATIONAL INITIATIVES:

Decolonizing Architecture Art Residency | DAAR is an architectural research studio based in Palestine, which combines discourse, urban intervention, education, collective learning, public meetings and legal challenges as a form of political intervention and narration

Abandoned? | explores the concept that nothing or anywhere is ever totally abandoned, just waiting for nature or someone to find it and give it a new life. It explores the innovative ways humans have, and can re-use their environment and how these paths differ across the European continent

[im]possible living | rethinking the abandoned world. [im]possible living wants to be an enabler, a catalyst of the energies available in every place in the world that are not able to get through and give birth to the abandonment market and, in general, to a new housing development model


ORGANIZATIONS:

Bonn International Center for Conversion | BICC is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace and development, through the sustained and effective transformation of military-related structures, assets, functions and processes.

Close The Base | The Network for Okinawa (NO) is a grassroots network that draws together representatives from peace groups, environmental organizations, faith-based organizations, academia, and think tanks.
