Weekly Conference Call: April 27, 2010

  • Drawing Schedule:

  • Jessica and Hayley / AFH / George to send drawing comments to Darren by Wednesday
  • Darren has also given drawings to Dan for BOQ update; awaiting reply
  • Darren to complete revisions by Monday, May 3rd (if possible)
  • Gretchen: would recommend final peer review by local architect and Ewan (Arup) once Gifford and AFH comments have been reviewed/incorporated.
  • Target date for Ewan comments Monday, May 10
  • Local architect to sign drawings week of May 10
  • Drawing Comments / Site Developments

  • Darren having trouble joining call due to connection
  • GM: rebar going from footing to wall to truss - important to see connections
  • Jessica and team to send mark-up/comments by email - should not affect BOQ, mostly related to reinforcement
  • Darren: Q about gauge of steel. Jessica responded.
  • Darren meeting Johan Nietsch (3rd contractor) on site tomorrow morning
  • This should sort out contractor selection
  • Team did not feel compelled to go with 2nd contractor, but Darren will check out his work.
  • GS: Darren can interview alone if Joseph cannot attend
  • Grader will be on site in the morning to assess
  • site has been cleared; grading scheduled for next week
  • On target for schedule; just waiting on drawing comments and Darren will incorporate
  • Next Week Call

  • Gifford will try to attend call with at least 1 representative for the next few weeks
  • Gretchen will be out next week; JE and SJ will be on call
  • next time AFH will call Darren directly on his cell phone from conference line. this should not cost Darren any money. Darren be sure to charge cell phone battery.
