A House for Lee

Overviewteamupdatesworkspacecalendarfiles

Since the Hurricane, Lee has lived alone in Biloxi. His two daughters, Courtney (18) and Amaya (10), have been living in Houston, Texas, as the FEMA trailer he’s been staying in cannot accommodate all three.

On a typical East Biloxi 50’ x 100’ lot, his new home is organized around a center room that allows for natural light and ventilation from the front and rear porches on the east and west while, at the same time, reducing the need for a long hallway. Every room has access to natural light and ventilation.

As for Lee’s love of cooking on the grill, the rear porch acts as an outdoor kitchen and dining area for his not-to-be-missed work-day lunches.
