Jackie and AFH will hold a GRS coach training session on October 19th Caretaker flat payment, SFW accepts liability for payment, should VPUU be unable to fund the construction, Drucon has started construction and will bill AFH Drucon will invoice VPUU directly for the caretaker flat, team is sorting how to separate invoices ESKOM - CoCT will draft letter to request subdivison and additional connection Drucon to sumbit letter and provide quote for new connection building plans pending, awaiting new erf number to receive approval MaliFFH/AFH met with AMPJF to discuss design expectations and schedule Pictures will be posted soon! Solar world coordination, SFW sorting agreements AFH to submit SD package today KenyaCouncil drawings are complete and are ready for submission Structural drawings are complete and are ready for council submission Electrical drawings are complete and have been submitted to QS BOQs are currently being worked on by the QS and the entire package will be sent to AFH for internal review early next week Dr. Omenya is working on the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), AFH to follow up next week AFH seeking donations for the timber pergola and external block pavers Test sample holes will be dug on site today to investigate the soil profile of the site. You are invited to look behind the scenes as we retrofit the first Now House — near zero energy wartime home. Day-by-day, our changes are moving this home towards zero energy use. That means it will be very green and very cheap to operate, in fact we’re aiming for zero energy cost. From major insulation improvements and new windows, to radiant floor warming and solar energy production, come see what it takes to turn a 60-year old modest bungalow from an energy user to an energy producer. This is a work in progress so you will see what has been done so far and sketches of what’s coming next. The Now House team and our product sponsors will be on hand to answer questions.
