The prototype is design to maintain intermodality. This allows the hub to be shipped and reshipped anywhere in the world.
The back of the container holds a flexible water tank. This will allow fresh water to be shipped with the container as well as replenished by rainwater.
A composting toilet is housed in a self contained building that deploys out from the shipping container.
A large fabric shade structure also acts as a rainwater collector and gutter.
Solar panels are linked to battery storage to provide power for the toilet and outdoor lighting.
