PROJECT Akilah is establishing a vocational training institute for young Rwandan women in the town of Mayange, Rwanda. Our goal is to create an environment that will allow us to fulfill our underlying mission of promoting sustainable peace in a post-conflict society through training and educating the female population with vocational skills. PROJECT AKilah has recognized that a holistic approach to reconciliation is vital. The institute will combine human rights, education, and economic empowerment to provide opportunities to the 200+ students.
