The community center was build using the Habitech Building System is designed to collect water from the roof into a reservoir for consumption. Waste water is treated through a constructed wetland. Solar panels were used on the roof to supply a computer laboratory with the necessary electricity. Surplus energy is chaneled into the local electrical grid.
