Panelized House Plans, Americus, GA

Habitat for Humanity International approached Architecture for Humanity to assist Habitat in finding an architect who could create plans for panelized houses for the Americus, Georgia, affiliate, called New Horizons Habitat. This affiliate often cannot synch the availability of volunteer labor with the availability of land on which to build a house, so the affiliate thought if they could build components of the house off-site as labor was available, it would make their operations more efficient. George Catone of Reset Studios in Phoenix, Arizona, and Autumn Rennie Phillips a designer of Greater Atlanta stepped forward to create plans that will fulfill the needs of New Horizons.
